About this tool
Offer Comparison puts two or three job offers side by side in money, not points. For each offer, enter the base salary, target bonus, joining bonus, equity grant and vesting period, employer retirement contribution (PF or 401(k)), other yearly benefits, paid leave, office days a week and your one-way commute. The tool works out each offer’s yearly value, its first-year total including the joining bonus, how many hours a year you would spend commuting, and what it pays per hour once that travel time is counted. The verdict tells you which offer is worth the most and by how much, and points out when a lower-paid offer actually pays more per hour because it saves hours of commuting. Every number is shown, so you can see exactly why one offer comes out ahead. Amounts are before tax and equity is valued at today’s price. Your figures are remembered in this browser only. Money is only part of the decision: weigh the role, team, growth and stability too.
