About Word to PDF Converter
Word to PDF turns a Microsoft Word document into a PDF that looks the same on every phone, tablet and computer. Upload a .docx or .doc file of up to 100 MB and it is converted on our server by LibreOffice, the widely used open-source office suite, which reads the document and lays it out page by page, keeping headings, paragraphs, tables, images, lists, page breaks, headers and footers. The result is a standard PDF you can email, upload to a job or government portal, or print, without worrying that the other person has a different version of Word or is missing your fonts. Text in the PDF stays selectable and searchable because it is converted as text, not flattened into a picture. The file travels over HTTPS, is converted, returned to your browser, and then deleted from the server straight away; nothing is kept and no account is needed. Documents that use unusual fonts may look slightly different, because a font that is not available on the server is replaced by a similar one, so it is worth a quick look at the PDF before sending it.

Tips for a perfect conversion
Small checks that avoid surprises
Use common fonts
Fonts like Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman and Liberation convert most faithfully. Unusual fonts are replaced by a similar font on the server.
Check page breaks
If a table or heading lands awkwardly, add a manual page break in Word before converting.
Keep the Word original
A PDF is hard to edit. Keep the .docx so you can change it and convert again later.
