About Edit PDF
Edit PDF opens your document in a full editor that runs entirely in your browser, so the file is never uploaded. Add text boxes with your choice of font, size and colour, insert images, place a signature you draw or type, and annotate with highlights, freehand drawing, rectangles, ellipses, lines, arrows and checkmarks for forms. A white-out tool covers content with an opaque block so you can type over it; for sensitive information use Redact PDF, which removes the text permanently. In the page sidebar you can rotate, duplicate, delete and add blank pages, and you can search the document’s text. Every object can be moved, resized, layered, copied and duplicated, and every change can be undone. Zoom, fit to width or page, and pinch-zoom on phones. When you are done, Save & Download writes a new PDF with your changes. If a PDF is password-protected or damaged, the editor tells you and offers Unlock PDF or Repair PDF, and it asks before you close the editor with changes you have not downloaded.
