About this tool
Find My IP Address shows the public IP address your internet connection uses, the address every website you visit sees. It checks both IPv4 and IPv6, so you can see whether your connection supports the newer protocol, and looks up the details attached to the address: your internet provider, the network (ASN) it belongs to, an approximate location and the time zone. Each value has a copy button, and the approximate location can be shown on a map if you choose. A short explainer covers what websites can and cannot learn from an IP address, why the location is often a nearby city rather than your home, and how VPNs and mobile networks change what you see. Run the check again after switching Wi-Fi, mobile data or a VPN to compare. The lookups go directly from your browser to public IP services (ipify for the address and ipapi.co for the details); nothing is stored by us.
